Toshiba's Aplio and Xario Ultrasound platforms now substantially reduce time and costs in the OB/GYN department by offering Astraia software.

Zoetermeer, Netherlands, October 13, 2010 – Toshiba Medical Systems Europe (TMSE) has started to offer astraia software for their Aplio and Xario platforms in the OB/GYN market in selected countries.

astraia software is a modular database application specifically for obstetricians and gynaecologists. It offers a range of report formats to document examinations; all of them designed to meet the specific needs of both the examiner and the patient. The aim is to secure and optimise the customer's work flow by substantially reducing the time and cost spent on daily administrative processes, including correspondence and archiving. The database is flexible and can be adapted to our customers’ individual needs and country-specific legal requirements. astraia software has been translated into more than 20 languages.
